Kuwait and China stressed their keenness to develop cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit and elevate their strategic partnership.
Emir of Kuwait Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received in Kuwait City on Sunday Chinese Vice-President Han Zheng. Crown Prince Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah also attended the meeting.
The meeting tackled issues of common interest, as well as the latest regional and global developments, according to Kuwait’s state-run news agency, KUNA.
Later, the Crown Prince held official talks with the Chinese Vice-President. They discussed the deep-rooted historic relations between their countries and ways to deepen the existing partnership on all levels in a manner that serves their common interests.
They also exchanged views on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest, as well as the latest regional and international developments.
