GOLF BEST BETS: OUTRIGHT PICKS FOR THE RBC HERITAGE

Our Masters hangover might last a few days, but we don't have much time to recover. The PGA Tour keeps on rolling this weekend with the RBC Heritage from Harbour Town Golf Links, a signature event with another loaded field.

Unsurprisingly, Scottie Scheffler is the +400 betting favorite after winning The Masters for his third victory in his last four starts. We can't bet him at that price, though, and it wouldn't be surprising if he pulled out of the tournament because his wife is close to giving birth to their first child.

Will Zalatoris (+2800 FanDuel)

Will Zalatoris is going to win again soon, and this could be the week for it. The American was rusty when he returned from back surgery earlier this season, but he's gained strokes on approach in seven straight starts. He's also dialed back his distance off the tee in favor of control, ranking 10th on Tour this year in driving accuracy.

This version of Zalatoris is a perfect fit for Harbour Town. He'll be able to pepper fairways on a golf course that demands positional accuracy off the tee and gain a ton of strokes with his irons. Zalatoris has three top-10 finishes in his last five starts. Coming off a T9 finish at The Masters, he's in a great spot to contend this week.

Shane Lowry (+5500 FanDuel)

Speaking of players who are perfect fits for Harbour Town, Shane Lowry makes too much sense this week. The Irishman ranks first on the PGA Tour in driving accuracy, third in strokes gained on approach and first in approaches from 125-150 yards.

Lowry has been remarkably consistent with seven top-25 finishes and three top-threes in his last 11 worldwide starts. He also has three top-10 finishes in his last five starts at Harbour Town. Europeans have done quite well at the RBC Heritage over the years, and we love the +5500 price.

J.T. Poston (+7000 FanDuel)

J.T. Poston can struggle on longer golf courses due to his lack of distance, but he's a great target on short, positional courses because he's deadly accurate off the tee. He's also most comfortable on this style of golf course because he grew up in North Carolina. It's no wonder he has three top-10 finishes in his last five starts at Harbour Town.

Poston has gained strokes from putting every time he's visited Harbour Town, so as long as he has a decent week with his irons, he should be able to have a chance come Sunday afternoon.
